NEXgulf is an indoor, metal-clad range of switchgear designed for the medium voltage section of HV/MV as well as MV/LV substations.

The switching devices are of the metal-clad, withdrawable type that provide the reliability needed for the continuity of power supply, as well as operational safety and ease of installation, operation and maintenance.

Danway holds a Licensee Agreement for the manufacturing and assembly of medium voltage switchgear as well as assembly of high end switchgear.

The RM6 is a compact unit that combines all the medium voltage functional units enabling connection, supply and protection of either one or two transformers on an open ring of a radial network. This is achieved through a fuse-switch combination up to 2000 kVA, as well as a circuit breaker with self-powered protection unit up to 3000 kVA. The DIS connectors and busbars are enclosed in a gas-tight chamber filled with SF6 gas and sealed for life, thus offering unparalleled operational safety, environment friendliness, ease of installation and maintenance-free live parts. The RM6 unit is compact as well as reliable, offering minimal operational cost and high compliance with international and national standards.

Danway holds a cooperation agreement with Schneider Electric, enabling Danway to provide value-addition to the RM6 Ring Main Unit to better suit the local market requirements. Danway will adapt the RM6 unit to meet all medium voltage power distribution needs up to 24 kV. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of outdoor enclosures, metering units and any other external protection of choice.
